All machinery, electrical, and pickups are without issue. CTS pots. The body is in excellent condition with only a few very small impressions/dings/dimples and some very light surface marks. There is a flake of clear finish peeled at the very top of the headstock rear. This wear and peeling of the clear finish was also starting all over the rear of neck (this is a very common problem of Fenders of this age and era). But the fretboard itself is 100%, the clear finish has not lifted anywhere. Because of this wear the rear of neck has been given the Ernie Ball style treatment. Professionally stripped to the bare wood, sanded to a very fine grade, and oil treated. It is now perfect! Super smooth and EXTREMELY fast and slippery to play on. Serial dates 77-78.
